Criminal Mischief

• An IUP student reported that someone damaged a window screen between 3:30 and 9 a.m. March 2 in the 100 block of South 10th Street, according to the Indiana Borough Police Department.

• Someone keyed the passenger side of a red Chevrolet Equinox while it was parked between March 3 and 4 in the 500 block of School Street, according to borough police. Anyone with information is asked to contact borough police at 724-349-2121.

• Borough police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief at 3:45 a.m. March 5 in the 100 block of South 10th Street. Anyone with information is asked to contact borough police.

Burglary

• A resident reported that someone damaged a rear door and stole items between 10 p.m. March 2 and 4 a.m. March 3 in the 800 block of Grant Street, according to borough police. Anyone with information is asked to contact borough police.

Harassment

• Andrew Herman, 26, of Indiana, was charged with harassment, simple assault, false imprisonment, resisting arrest and recklessly endangering another person at 10:10 a.m. March 2 at 400 Poplar Ave., according to borough police.

• Tyhiem Brooks, 20, and Brianna Triplin, 20, both of Philadelphia, were cited for summary harassment at 12:07 a.m. March 3 at Stephenson Hall, according to IUP University Police.

Hit and run

• A vehicle struck a silver Nissan while it was parked between 1 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. March 5 in the 400 block of Maryland Way, according to borough police. Anyone with information is asked to contact borough police.
