No ramen no problem: buffalo chicken dip


Anywhere you go that has buffalo chicken dip, chances are you’re going to dig in!

It is a common dish to converse over watching a football game, a TV premier or even a movie night.  Some even make it a complete meal; it is just that good.

If you are intimidated by the spice factor, you can always customize it to your preference.

And, all of the ingredients can be found in a college student’s pantry!

First, drain a can of chicken and put into a mixing bowl.

Place one block of cream cheese into a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds, or until softened.

Add the chicken into the bowl with the softened cream cheese, and stir until it is combined.

Measure out a quarter cup of your favorite ranch dressing and a quarter cup of hot sauce.  Pour into the bowl with the cream cheese and chicken combination.

Scatter about a cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and mix it all together until it is evenly distributed.

Put the bowl into the microwave for 1-2 minutes, and give it a good stir when it comes out of the microwave.

For the stovetop directions, heat chicken and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat until it has heated up.

Stir in cream cheese and ranch dressing, and cook until the cream cheese has melted.

Mix in the shredded cheese and pour into an ovenproof dish or pie dish, and place into a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Serve with tortilla chips, celery, or even carrots!

To customize your buffalo chicken dip, you can vary the amounts of ranch dressing, hot sauce and cheese.

Prepare to make it many more times if you decide to share it with your roommates or friends!

1 12 ounce can of shredded chicken,

1 8 ounce block of cream cheese,

1/4 cup of ranch dressing,

1/4 cup of hot sauce,

1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese,
