The robbery took place at the Philadelphia Street First Commonwealth branch at 10:26 a.m.
Police say they are looking for a thin, white man, approximately 45 years old, with short, graying facial hair.
At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing black pants, a black hoodie, a red and black flannel and white sneakers, according to Borough Police.
The suspect entered the bank and walked around the bank counter demanding money from the teller, according to Borough Police.
The suspect took money from the teller’s drawer, which was believed to be consisting of mostly $10 and $20 bills, but an exact amount is still under investigation, according to Borough Police.
The suspect left the scene from the front door and headed south toward Church Street and the railroad tracks.
